Who We Are

We are a long line of family farmers who simply adore Hawaii and this beautiful, safe, and sacred plant. There is such rich history surrounding 'awa on this Island, as kava root allows the ancient wisdom of Hawaii to come forth to restore balance to your life. As the elders used to say, "If you drink too much root, you must walk backwards, so the ground does not come up to greet you". The Hawaiian kava is very strong and suits the needs for long and pleasant ceremonies conducive to sociability and the telling of long stories. Thank you for trying us; we are a small farm, struggling in a new corporate, global economy.

Aloha no,
Makaira
