No Effects From Kava!

Dear Makaira, I tried all of the Kava products I ordered and didn’t feel a single thing from anything of them.  Please advise! Sincerely, Concerned Customer ~~~~~~~~~~ As always, we’re sorry to hear that a Kava product didn’t live up to a customer’s expectations.  Every Kava product we offer is proudly manufactured under strict FDA-compliant conditions in a G.M.P. manufacturing facility.  That means our Kava products not only adhere to a basic minimum of quality, but we go above and beyond the requirements by listing genuine Kavalactone content of every one of our Kava...

How Much Extract to Use for Full Effects?

Michael Claisse asked: How much kava extract should I use in one coffee cup to feel the full effects and how many cups should I drink? The bottle says that there are 25 active mg of kavalactones in one serving, and says one serving is 10-20 drops. So, as we tell everyone who asks: It’s open to personal...

Should I have left the root to soak in the liquid for 30 minutes? Should I have thoroughly squeezed the juices out of the root? Should I have not filtered it and just drank the whole concoction? Any help would be appreciated. Makaira says: Every person reacts differently to Kava root, and therefore,...

Different Kava Products = Different Effects?

Jan asked: I have been using wine, etc. to help with stress and falling asleep. I would like to stop this habit completely. I have ordered your instant cocoa and spice kava. Do you have any other suggestions for different kava products? Would the paste or liquid caps have been a better choice? I don’t miss the wine exactly; I miss the almost instant feeling of relief it provides. Thanks for any insights. I love your website! Makaira says: We feel that the kava capsules and kava liquigels are better suited to pain management, as they don’t contain the full spectrum of plant...
