Chilled Kava Chocolates Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 bottle (7.25 oz) of self-hardening chocolate 'shell' sauce (the kind
used as an ice cream topping)
- 6 tablespoons of cocoa flavored instant kava mix
- (optional) vanilla, cinnamon, shredded coconut
1. In a bowl, stir instant kava powder into chocolate sauce, mix thoroughly.
2. If desired, mix in vanilla, cinnamon, and/or shredded coconut to taste.
3. Pour mixture into a pre-lubricated ice cube tray, and place in freezer for 10-15 minutes.
4. Remove when ready, and enjoy!
It's a fairly forgiving process, so have fun experimenting with different flavors and types of shell sauce, adding nuts, etc. I find that this is not only a refreshing dessert, but an extremely efficient way to consume kava without having to deal with the bland taste.
