Hoodia has SO many
promises and claims, such as…
Hoodia
will make losing weight simpler than ever
- 20:1 Hoodia Extract doesn't really exist (FALSE!)
- Phytopharm owns the patent to
Hoodia gordonii (FALSE!)
- Hoodia has already helped millions of
people lose weight
How do
you know who to believe regarding any of these promises
and claims? We suggest finding a place that
DOESN'T make wild claims as a start. We don't make
any wild claims or make any empty promises; we simply
offer a recently discovered, all-organic, all-natural
herbal product that provides about 8 hours of appetite
suppression, while providing you with essential
nutrients and energy at the same time. As the
direct and trusted source for Hoodia gordonii for over 5
years, with countless satisfied customers throughout the
world, we take our Hoodia seriously.
If you are tired of seeing ads like; "miracle weight loss"
and "magic pill makes weight loss effortless", we know
the feeling. Hoodia is NOT a magic pill
that will shed pounds with no effort from you.
What is CAN do is provide you with effective
appetite suppression throughout your day, making it
EASIER for you to lose weight, as you eat less and
hopefully more sensibly.
As with any weight loss program, HoodiaNow is just one
part of the bigger picture, which must include a
sensible diet and, of course, exercise. It's
sustainable weight loss you are looking for, right?
It's taking control of your life and your body that you
want, right? If you had to simply take a pill to
accomplish this, you would be nothing more than a slave
to that little pill, accomplishing nothing. If you
learn to take control of your eating while integrating
an exercise routine into your life, while having
HoodiaNow helping you accomplish this by removing your
desire to eat so much and so often, then YOU are working
to free yourself from the weight permanently.
Why
is Hoodia different from any other weight loss pill?
There is
a ton of money to be made in the weight loss markets,
especially because it has been recently deemed an
"epidemic" by the Attorney General's office. With
this knowledge, many unscrupulous companies know that by
making some wild claims such as "miracle weight loss",
that they will capture at least some of the billion
dollar Hoodia market. This is evidenced in the
companies who are posing as us, infringing on our
trademark, and hurting our customers, as well as the
piles of Junk Mail that show up in your e-mail every day
regarding this product.
Hoodia,
when used properly and with a sensible eating and
exercise plan, can, safely and naturally, help you
achieve your goals better than anything else we have
found on the market. Hoodia has been used for many
thousands of years by the "San" Bushmen in South Africa
(some say for over 100,000 years!) as a way of giving
them energy while suppressing their appetites on long
journeys or hunts. It helped them NOT to lose
weight, but to stave off hunger pangs while on the hunt
for food. Hoodia is a cactus that fortunately for
them, grows wild all over South Africa.
What
about Pfizer and the P57 pill that they're reportedly
developing?
In
clinical trials, the active ingredient in the Hoodia
gordonii plant has been shown to suppress a person's
appetite by up to 2000 calories a day. This study is the
result of 30 years of research by the CSIR (Council for
Scientific and Industrial Research) in South Africa, and
the results are simply staggering. Pfizer, a large
pharmaceutical company (they developed Viagra), has
invested approximately $21 million for the right to
develop the active ingredient, P57 which is supposed to
mimic the effects that glucose has on the human brain.
Glucose is the molecule that is partially responsible
for blocking hunger pangs in humans.
This
does NOT give them any exclusive right over the
plant or any of the active ingredients in it, though.
It would give them exclusive rights to the pill, that
will most-likely contain ONLY the active ingredient of
Hoodia and none of the other properties that may be in
the natural extracts of the plant itself. But,
Pfizer also has reportedly found the development costs
too high to be profitable, so they have abandoned their
development of this pill.
Is
Hoodia really that safe?
All of
the Hoodia products from HoodiaNow contain only natural
and organic ingredients, with absolutely NO stimulants
such as caffeine and ephedra or ephedrine. As a
matter of fact, Hoodia has been classified as a food
rather than a drug in South Africa, which should give
you an indication of how safe Hoodia is for humans to
ingest.
How
long does Hoodia take to work?
The
consensus is that Hoodia can take up to 1 to 2 weeks to
kick in, however, many people notice the appetite
suppressing effects within 1/2 hour of taking a dose of
Hoodia. Non-extracted Hoodia requires about 1200
milligrams per dose to be effective, but our 20:1
capsules require 1/20th of that amount, which is about 2
capsules. Simply take your capsules 30 minutes to
1 hour before your first meal of the day. Ensure
adequate water intake, because Hoodia will also shut off
your thirst mechanism.
